How long is Casey’s Clubhouse?

Casey’s Clubhouse is a full school-year commitment from September to early June. It is well organized by skills, it is fun and active, and it includes workbooks for both parents and their child. Casey’s Camp is a week long mini-experience offered in the summer and designed to introduce kids to social skills and group connection.

Who is a typical Casey’s kid?

We serve kids 1st-8th grade who have had social challenges due to negative environments or situations, psychological difficulties, physiological differences. These challenges have led to social skills deficits, exclusion, disconnection, and social delays. Some children recognize their need for a friendship group and others do not. Note that children who are severely deregulated tend to need smaller groups and more individual focus than we provide.

Who developed Casey’s Clubhouse?

Leslie Fields, LMHC and Laura Schneider, LMHC have worked in tandem running and developing Casey’s Clubhouse, since 2005. They developed their own curriculum, workbooks, and training program by designing and incorporating new techniques using up-to-date research findings to increase the successful adaption of group work to real life social situations.
