Friendship is all about give and take. But we need to make sure that friendly behaviors toward our friend outweigh the unfriendly behaviors.

We can build social currency by loading up our friendship with positive deposits of friendly behaviors, like smiling at our friend, listening to our friend, or complimenting our friend. That way, when we have friendship withdrawals of unfriendly behaviors, like teasing our friend, excluding our friend, or not sharing our things with our friend, the friendship can still survive. 

We can think of friendship like a bank account! Let's work on identifying friendship deposits and withdrawals, and thinking about a friendship we have or are working on, using a Friendship Ledger.
