Our Recognizing Emotions unit contains a series of videos about Casey and his friends/family and their journey with understanding how emotions come into play in relationships, along with complementary printables and activities.

During a pivotal morning moment, Casey and his mom talk about using “I feel” statements to communicate how we’re feeling to others instead of letting uncomfortable feelings build up inside of us and affect our behaviors. Casey practices using “I feel” statements throughout the school day.
